Going Green

We are investigating ways to add solar heating to our shower blocks, reduce our waste with the toilets, reduce our water intake with harvesting the rainwater into butts, and hope to have a wind turbine to minimise our power in the future. At present we have recycling program situated in the camping area for plastics and glass and also hope to introduce an aluminium crusher for 2010.

Each year we will increase the measures undertaken to work towards becoming a carbon neutral business.

To comply with regulatory requirements and environmental legislation.
To continue to improve and reduce the environmental impact of the park.
Reduce the raw energy used on the park by increasing the use of low wattage bulbs.
To promote the use of public transport, cycle or walk when exploring the local area.
Use recycled paper whenever possible, or paper from sustainable forests when recycled is not available
